Aims and activities
The Buckinghamshire Strategic Funders Group comes together each month to support our collective place-based focus on communities in Buckinghamshire.
Our primary aims are to:
- Share data, intelligence and expertise to better understand the local context
- Develop collaboration through pooled funds which tackle challenging issues affecting Buckinghamshire communities.
Joint funding for partnerships addressing poverty and financial insecurity, mental health provision and representation of minority ethnic groups in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors have been key to our collaboration.
What started with informal information-sharing led us to develop more strategic initiatives together

Members of the group are founders of the Bucks Data Exchange, an open-access platform containing the latest insights about Buckinghamshire and links to useful external resources.
