Aims and activities
Many businesses wish to support their local communities but often don’t have the dedicated resources to identify priority needs, communicate with local community groups, manage large volumes of charity requests and assess applications for funding.
The Cornwall Community Foundation Business Club provides a complete solution for charitable giving by businesses, enabling companies to work together to maximise impact and share best practice.
Our members contribute £1,000 per year which can be paid in instalments. All donations go into our Business Club Fund and members can join the panel to discuss and decide on funding applications twice a year.
We also host quarterly networking breakfasts where members meet to discuss their business, meet like-minded local business owners and leaders, and hear from projects the fund has supported. We organise project visits and volunteering opportunities and invite our members to various events throughout the year.
How to get involved
We would love businesses across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to join us in supporting their local community. You can find out more via our website or by contacting Tamara Sherston-Baker.
