Aims and activities
The Impact Alliance seeks to proactively tackle pressing community issues in the West of England through an innovative, collaborative and strategic funding approach.
It aims to co-build a series of 3 programmes that deliver against our shared ambitions:
- Delivering greater impact
- Aligning with shared vision
- Collaborating and breaking silos
- Working strategically
- Learning from each other and our communities to create opportunities for change
- Taking risks, adapting, and then refocusing
- Seeking new models and solutions for end users
- Longer-term sustainable funding
Each programme aims to initially leverage £1.5m of funding into the region from a range of contributing funders, to create meaningful impact by providing funding aligned with a collective vision.
The first of these is centred on loneliness and social isolation. The programme aims to build a series of themes within loneliness and social isolation, where projects can be developed by any type of organisation. These projects collectively help to achieve our overarching goal and bring our vision to life and will be underpinned by a common evaluation framework.
How to get involved
Interested funders can get involved by joining the Impact Alliance – each member is currently considering what their contribution is (ranging from funding to be distributed to communities; facilities/resources; skills e.g. marketing, providing capacity development to funded organisations; data/research sharing; networks etc). The Alliance meets monthly in Bristol, in person. For further details please contact Impact Alliance
