Charities supporting people across a range of issues, such as domestic abuse, homelessness, dependency and supporting refugees and asylum seekers report challenges around the access to move-on accommodation, with people who they have supported unable to move out of temporary / institutional accommodation. This not only prevents people from moving on with their lives but can also mean charities are unable to free up space (e.g. in refuges) to support other people.
At Lloyds Bank Foundation for England & Wales, we are interested in exploring how we might influence change in this space and are interested in whether this is an issue that other funders are grappling with too - and if so, whether there might be opportunities to work together.
How to get involved
Get in touch with Caroline Gentile to let us know you're interested, and we'll set up a chat.
