Aims and activities
We are a group of independent grant-makers who share a passion for improving the quality of life for people in the Liverpool City Region. Committed to supporting and strengthening our local communities, we come together in order to:
- Share information and good practice in grant making, monitoring and evaluation
- Explore opportunities for greater collaboration between funders
- Through our collective voice, feed into and influence strategy and policy development
- Keep up to date on trends and issues within the voluntary, community and faith sectors and the wider community
- Support local delivery plans, strategies, and where appropriate, local giving by other funders for the common good
- Report and make known the impact of grant making in the Liverpool City Region
Meetings are quarterly and aim to:
- Improve liaison and networking between funders
- Inform members through relevant speakers of emerging strategies and policies as they affect communities across the Liverpool City Region.
How to get involved
Membership, participation and attendance at meetings is free and open to funders who support VCFSE organisations and local charities in the Liverpool City Region.
