Aims and activities
The Plymouth Partners & Funders Forum meets quarterly, with the following aims:
- Embed understanding of Plymouth's priority needs in funding decision-making
- Use shared intelligence to maximise investment in the city
- Mobilise support for need
- Encourage creativity, collaboration and avoid duplication
- Give voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations a place to advocate for supporting collaborations of small organisations
- Share indicative funding allocations - helping to piece together the 'jigsaw of funding'
- Deliver an annual multi-funder panel event - in a 'Dragon’s Den' format or another innovative way of encouraging collaborative funding bids from Plymouth
- Share learning and challenge each other, in order to explore a fairer funding ecosystem.
