Aims and activities

Data shows that having a safe and secure home is crucial to a young person's success at University. The Unite Foundation is working with The Dulverton Trust, Astra Foundation and Portal Trust to pilot different models of support to provide accommodation scholarships for care leaver and estranged students at university. We are yet to reach in to Wales and would be interested to explore opportunities for supporting Welsh institutions with other funders, as well as sharing insights from current activity to inspire others to fund in this space.

By collaborating on funding initiatives and working with universities, we can provide the support and resources that these students need to succeed.
