The Centre for Social Justice Foundation is running an exciting research project entitled ‘Supercharging Philanthropy’ and we’re gathering leading grant-makers and philanthropists to discuss experiences of philanthropy and grant-giving to explore the challenges and opportunities for the future.

Our Big Listen South West event is on Friday 6th December from 10 am to 2pm, and will be held at Prior Park College (Academy Hall, in the Mansion Building), Ralph Allen Drive, Bath, BA2 5AH.

Special guest speakers will be the Rt Hon Darren Jones MP and Mark Roper from the Roper Family Charitable Trust.

After the release of our report Overlooked and Underfunded, we will discuss how the new government could maximise philanthropic giving regionally and nationally.

We want to hear about your experience funding projects – whether nationally or locally across the South West Region – as we develop a roadmap to inspire a new era of giving.

We’ll delve into topics such as:

•           Maximising the impact of local philanthropy

•           Innovative funding mechanisms to drive change

•           Policies to encourage greater philanthropic investment

•           How to protect the Underfunded and Overlooked small charities

Join us for a morning of keynote speeches, insightful discussion, networking (and a delicious lunch!). Your perspectives will help to create a national policy paper to influence the new government.

We’re committed to amplifying the voices of local communities, and your participation would really help contribute to this work.

We hope you can join us. Please RSVP with any dietary requirements.
