The Funder Safeguarding Collaborative (FSC) is a global network of grant-making organisations driving action to create safer organizational practices and cultures. As the only philanthropic support organisation dedicated to safeguarding, we offer high quality, specialist support that is tailored to the needs of grant-making organisations.
In September FSC is offering two in-person trainings designed with and for UK-based funders who fund domestically. The training courses run sequentially over two days. Participants can book on either individual one-day training course, or book to attend both days.
Safeguarding in grant-making: Explore the regulatory context, what constitutes effective safeguarding and how to embed safeguarding in the grant cycle.
Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) in grant-making organisations: Explore the role, responsibilities and relationships of a DSL, as well as effective responses to safeguarding concerns. This course requires participants to have either attended the training on Safeguarding in grant-making or have strong existing knowledge of safeguarding.
