Programme reflections from supporting UK infrastructure bodies

Thursday 7th July, 12:00 - 1:30pm (online event)

Infrastructure organisations are a bedrock of civil society. They work across the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, providing meaningful roles to support capacity building, influencing, and providing essential services to their members and wider communities.

The aim of The National Lottery Community Fund's New Infrastructure Programme was to support ‘emerging’ and ‘established’ infrastructure organisations to become more resilient, sustainable and fit for future service delivery. An important focus was supporting these organisations to catalyse change and consider how their use and application of digital would help them support the wider VCSE sector.

With the programme coming to an end, the two Learning Partners, Shift Design and Careful Industries, have identified a number of shared experiences in supporting organisations to build capacity and work on change initiatives.

We invite you to an interactive learning and reflection session to hear from the two Learning Partners about:

  • Some of the pressures and challenges infrastructure organisations are facing
  • Reflections on funding digital, innovation, and sustaining change in cohort or one-to-many support models
  • Considerations on funding and delivering future ‘design lab’ programmes

Please note that this session is intended for audiences who are interested in, or have experience of funding digital. We'll be encouraging active participation throughout the session, so please come ready to bring your own perspectives and experiences from supporting previous and/or current digital funding initiatives.

If you'd like to join the session, please sign up using the Zoom registration link you can access here
